Our Story
Ayurveda has studied plants and their effect on the body for thousands of years. Microbiome science shows that healthy skin depends on the living ecosystem on its surface. Kasaya was built where these two meet.
Our formulas are made in Uttarakhand, India, at the foothills of the Himalayas, where many of our botanicals grow. Each product is shaped by Scandinavian simplicity: clear purpose, few ingredients, and nothing added for show.
The name Kasaya comes from Ayurveda, where it describes the astringent taste, one of the six tastes that bring balance.
Our founder, a plant engineer and new mother searched for gentle yet powerful skincare products during and post pregnancy. Unable to find what she sought, she drew on the timeless power of Ayurvedic herbology and the clean bioactive richness of Scandinavian nature.
The result is Kasaya, a synergy of age‑old botanicals and Nordic bioactives, refined by modern science and crafted into minimalist rituals for busy, intentional living.
